Eye tracking data generated by the App is stored locally on your device and is used for letting you control your device and browse the web through the App, except that we may collect anonymized metrics during the calibration process when you begin using the App, such as how long the calibration process took and how successful it was, in order to improve our eye tracking calibration. We do not collect any eye tracking data after the calibration process is complete. You are not required to create an account or register to use the App, and we do not receive information about who has downloaded the App.
We may collect Personal Data, such as your name and contact information, when you voluntarily provide such information by contacting us. We may use the Personal Data you provide in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, if you ask us a question, we will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question. We may share your Personal Data without further notice to you with certain service providers (such as web hosting services) that employ equivalent data protection practices to those described in this policy, with our affiliated companies, in the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar event, and where we are legally required to do so.
Hawkeye takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, email may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to Hawkeye via the Internet.
